You've done it again Liz: a thoroughly entrancing and perfectly illustrated piece which takes me straight back to the mixed experience that is an Indian train ride followed by the challenging contradictions of magic and mayhem that is Jaipur. I'd almost forgotten about that insane textile warehouse - apparently still unfinished or tidied up! I'm so glad you got to experience the obligatory honour (and embarrassment) of being hauled into a wedding party. Payal and her family are truly delightful, and the Palace of Wind still has my heart from my first time there. Thank you for this. ❤️

Contradictions is right - all over the place. But ultimately I definitely take away positive memories of the city.
Fascinating. The food. The fabric. Your curiosity.
Thank you - I’m endlessly curious about everything!
Me too.
Sounds like a beautiful place...excepting the rats, I guess. H
