Lizzi, it's the very inconsistency of content of your posts which holds my interest and my loyalty. In positive terms: unpredictable and spontaneous and timely and connected to our everyday reality. Personally, the opposite quickly turns me off. Stay consistently inconsistent, lass. We love it. 💪

I’m a big fan of better bread. And good stories. Literature and bodily sustainence, creativity and human connection that’s positivity for me.

That’s it! Hard to sustain it all sometimes but when we do it’s all worth it.

Georgette Heyer and bathtubs always seem to go together. The spaghetti and meatballs should definitely stay in the kitchen. Wine is a movable feast. Lovely post honey.

If only I had a Bath! I could get used to lolling in its soft bubbles daily! As you do! Tho I probably couldn’t do much more than 10 minutes!

Stay consistent with your inconsistency of topics in your writing, as Heidi said! I enjoy the mind wandering, the banal, the human touch, the honesty, the funny swipes and humour of your posts.

I always promise myself to try your recipes tho I never do!!! Still I know that I can enjoy some of them with you!

I know and have been spoiled with your meatballs and they are delicious!

😋

The 'list of things to worry about' gives an apt picture of the world. Just how mixed up it is with the daily and worldly events. Makes us wonder where we are at in this space and time as a people...

Glorious as ever Lizzie and whilst I prefer cold water and hot saunas, I concur on Georgette Heyer, albeit I confine any looking for 'strong men to save us', to the delights of a GH novel, as for 'real' world, it would be a wonderful to see more 'strong women' in the public eye, where's Boadicea when you need her...

Hopefully her name is Kamala…

Hmmmmmnnn... difficult to say, my knowledge of world and indeed US politics is scant at best, however with the overall trajectory of US politics and policies varying little over many a decade I am not wholly convinced, even if I don't quite subscribe to the near apocalyptic version of unfolding events espoused by Sodium Haze

I'm wholly convinced by very little - but we work within the systems we have, change them for better if we can. I think 'the handmaiden of genocide' is a ridiculous thing to say about Kamala Harris. However - they have some valid points about empire.

Indeed, an eye catching line though, ridiculous or not... anyway, off for a swim, bonne nuit 😘
